Publisher

  • Fix – Show Dependencies did not detect references in Expressions.
  • Fix – Table / Details Report was broken in version 7 with ERROR:ReferenceError: dsRaw is not defined
  • Fix – Filters with Value Lists would sometimes fails to accepted when passed to other Reports due to the Description being passed into of the code.
  • Fix – Annotations on Rows were failing after version 6.1.10 due to JQuery library update
  • Fix – Spreadsheet Writeback would sometimes fail due to missing Table reference Named Ranges.
  • Fix – Spreadsheet Tables would sometimes be cut short at the bottom in the display if the row count exceeded about 500 rows and there was no other content below the Table.
  • Fix – Spreadsheet Expressions that injected Excel Formula did apply custom Output Format settings.
  • Fix – Spreadsheet Tables with blank headers for the outputs would not display correctly after that column.

  • Add – Click on Charts now shows a menu with two new items – Save to CSV and Excel.

Query Builder

  • Fix – Show Zero Rows checkbox would uncheck after save if Suppress Total Row was also checked.
  • Change – Filter menu revised where the Other menu now appears as Special Filters and Application Type items now appear under an Applications menu.
  • Fix – When passing Filter Date values to other Filters there were issues US formatted dates that could raise errors. Now uses the user culture for all Dates conversions.
  • New – Special Filters / Show Obscured Outputs.
  • New – Filter Pane settings on Filter Options / Functions Tab.  These are used to fine tune the Filter Pane Filters when displayed in the Web Channel.  By default, the Filters styles are derived from the Filter settings but these can be override by these settings.
  • New – Special Filter – Show Lookup Description and Show Lookup Code Description menu to make it easier to get the Description of Filter values based on their Lookup.  For example, the Company or Account description based on the filter code.

Studio

  • Add – New Search options ‘Replace add Prefix & Suffix’ and ‘Is Blank’.  Also ‘Special Actions / Add Joins to all fields’ now has a option to confirm the SQL columns match in both tables.
  • Add – New Search option for Table & Views so Tables and Views can be searched separately.
  • Add – Table Sort on Tables view to sort the Tables under a Folder by their description.
  • Add – Tools / Options / Auto increment Version Build on Save

Foundry

  • Add – Tables and Fields can now be Flagged or Disabled.  This is useful when Tables and Fields need to be highlighted or disabled due to further work being required.
  • Fix – User Security related Tables would raise a SQL error.

Service Health Check

  • New – Service Health Check when run on the Application Server will summarize and categorise all the errors and warning etc that appear in the Windows Event Viewer Log related to Sharperlight.  This is useful to diagnose issues with the Service like Database connection errors while filtering out non-Sharperlight entries.
